Now On Amazon Kindle!

by James Seetoo on March 27, 2012

Hi Everyone I’ve been hard at work on the long awaited book.  It’s finally out!

It’s been a busy time around here and it’s taken a bit longer than I’d like to get the book out but I’ve just delivered it to Amazon and it should be out really soon.  Here’s a bit about The 5 Keys To Hypnotic Selling:

Almost every human interaction is characterized by having a sales element to a greater or lesser degree.  If you’re selling an idea or a product, interviewing for a job or even asking someone out on a date, the sooner you accept the fact that you’re selling, the better.

The 5 Keys To Hypnotic Selling is designed to easily, quickly and naturally give you an edge in everything you do. Get the person of your dreams, the job you want, or the promotion you’ve always craved.

The 5 Keys are things you do naturally but not consistently.  So sometimes we really “hit it off” with someone and it’s like speaking to an old friend and other times we just don’t know why we’re not connecting.  Using the 5 Keys takes the randomness out of this process and when used properly, will give you an edge over the competition.

About the author:  James Seetoo is a Certified Hypnotist, a Licensed NLP Practitioner and a long-time student of Influence and Persuasion technologies.  He has been an Executive Recruiter in both Fortune 500 companies and retained search firms and is also a martial arts instructor.  He also periodically holds live trainings on Hypnotic Selling.

Well, first of all, sorry for the delay in posts. It’s been a little bit off a busy time as I’m nearly finished with my long-awaited E-book, The 5 Keys to Hypnotic Selling.

At first, it was going to be primarily about using Hypnotic Selling/NLP/Conversational Hypnosis skills in your job search but I was recently a feature trainer at my good friend David Van Arrick’s CPI (Conversational Persuasion and Influence) seminar teaching a breakout session called Hypnotic Selling Secrets. It went really well and will soon be available on video and because of that, I decided to make this first effort more general.

Naturally, all of these skills can and should be used in your job search or any other type of sales situation. After all, it’s all sales – whether you’re interviewing for a job and you’re selling your ideas and services, or selling a product or asking someone for a date – it’s still a human interaction and it’s up to you to decide if you’re going to create powerful impressions on people or be one of the crowd.

By now, if you’ve been reading The Recruitment Underground you’ve become aware that my approach involves using the Influence and Persuasion skills gained from deep study of NLP and Hypnosis. I’ve synthesized all of this study into 5 Keys that are easily and quickly useable in any situation. Any of the keys can be used individually but when used in combination they’re unstoppable.

Over the next few posts I’m going to introduce you to the 5 Keys. That’s not to say that these are the only Keys, they’re not and I’ll be introducing more as time goes on. These are easily and quickly useable to jumpstart your Hypnotic Selling skills and get you results.

So I know you’re saying, get on with it already. Okay, here are The 5 Keys to Hypnotic Selling:

• Attitude and State Control
• Intention
• Rapport
• Criteria and Values
• Objection Mastery

So let’s look at the first Key, Attitude and State Control.

Attitude is a state of mind and it’s contagious. After all, we’ve all experienced someone who was able to brighten our day just by being around and conversely we’ve all known someone who is a wet blanket able to turn winning the lottery into a burden. I’ve had people in an interview put across the idea that he/she is too good for the job not by anything said but just by what they give out.

Since most communication is non-verbal we’re all tuned in to this phenomenon.

The trick is to understand and be aware of how others’ Attitude affects you and how yours affects others. And once you’ve got a handle on it, knowing how to control that Attitude or “State” in order to use it to your advantage.

So here’s a tip to get you started. Go out among other human beings and observe. Notice when someone is in a really good mood and see how that person affects others. A great place for this is a restaurant, bar or a store. Look for a server or salesperson who is in a really good mood and notice how that person’s attitude affects you. Then look for someone with a bad attitude and notice how that affects you.

Being aware is just the first step but if you don’t have it you’ll miss the whole thing.

We’ll talk about State Control or controlling this state of mind that leads to the attitude we’re discussing.

I know you want to get more and you will, just stay tuned. The 5 Keys to Hypnotic Selling will be ready to go in a few weeks and be sure to look out for a special announcement. There will be a teleseminar on The 5 Keys to Hypnotic Selling coming up. But there are those who need something quickly, maybe you’re interviewing soon so I’m recommending S.T.E.A.L.T.H. Hypnosis.

I have this course and consider the author, David Van Arrick to be a friend and mentor whose skills have helped me in my career. He has a new course out that’s a quick and dirty introduction to creating incredible rapport quickly, easily and naturally. It’s called S.T.E.A.L.T.H. Hypnosis and is an extremely practical way to quickly boost your impact in any personal interaction. You can check it out here:

I’ve just been a featured trainer at David’s recent seminar that attracted an international audience of professionals. The feedback was phenomenal and the video course and other products will be out soon for those who couldn’t make it because there will be another seminar early next year – but in the meantime, can you afford to wait that long? By now, you’ve seen that it’ll take a while for things to get better and need all advantages you can get.

Remember, your skills are you job security.

Best,

James Seetoo

May 27, 2010

Have you ever had a conversation with someone who you just knew wasn’t confident in what he was talking about? Judging A Book By Its Cover

February 22, 2010

The old cliché says you can’t judge a book by its cover and like every cliché, it has more than a kernel of truth to it. And just like every cliché, we do it anyway. We judge people by their looks, resumes by their format or lack thereof and I’m told, women even judge men [...]
